Space-saving Design

Less than 270 mm in height, this unit can be fit into practically any previously existing false ceiling or formerly ducted space without substantial modification(0.8-2.5HP).

PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) reduces noise and improves comfort

The noise from the fan motor is suppressed by introducing PWM:the current applied to the motor is shaped to a quasi sine wave by switching control of a power MOSFET* at a frequency of several ten-thousand Hz.

Smaller projections from the main body even when optional parts are attached reduce the installation space since the drain-up mechanism is installed within the main body

The pump lift of the drain-up mechanisum has been increased to 500mm by employing a high lifting drain pump.

Transmission wiring work for the outdoor unit is simplified by employing a non-polar two-wire system

  • The non-polar two-wire system of transmission wiring prevents transmission troubles caused by reversed connection of positive and negagive terminals during wiring.
  • The size of the transmission terminal block is reduced to prevent faultly connection of the power source. (This wiring is available for all models.)

Lifting work improved with lowered lifting hook

The lifting hook can be lowered to 100m above the bottom of the body, making lifting work better and easier.


With the built-in electronic expansion valve, Hitachi's indoor unit is designed to be freely connected either to outdoor units or other indoor units. Select the outdoor unit of your choice from the list in the catalog (Please refer to the catalog for details of the connection capacity limit, etc.).
