Heating Water by Absorbing Atmospheric Heat

Eco Cute*1 units are heat pump water heaters that use CO2 natural refrigerant and allows the pressure of the public water supply system to be used directly when supplying hot water. Direct use of the water supply system pressure enables showers with a powerful water flow even when hot water is being supplied simultaneously in the kitchen or other locations of the home. Moreover, the use of a newly developed heat pump unit increases hot water supply capabilities in winter, when outside air temperatures and water temperatures are low and large amounts of energy are thus required for heating the water. As another notable feature, the hot water storage tank has a thickness of just 415 mm, making this the industry's thinnest tank*2 and facilitating easy installation in narrow spaces.

Safe Designs for Cooking Without Using Fire

IH (induction heating) cooking heaters enable the cooking of authentic cuisines without the use of fire. Hitachi's proprietary IH heating method responds to all types of metalware and allows the direct heating of every type of metalpan, wiht the top plate (top part of heater) never reaching a high temperature exceeding that of the bottom of the pan. this feature prevents burning as well as makes it easy to take care of pans. Hitachi Appliances also added new models that integrate IH cooking heaters in all three burners for a clean kitchen that is safe and reliable.

Proposing Comprehensive Solutions

Besides Eco Cute and IH cooking heaters, Hitachi Appliances is also focusing on developing built-in type oven ranges and range hood fans while making proposals to a wide range of companies that include system kitchen manufacturers, home builders, condominium developers and electric power companies.
