In order to increase the total efficiency of the heat source system of the district
heating and cooling plant, advanced topping system with high operating efficiency and adapted to the variation
in steam condition of the entire system was delivered as the base load machine.
This is a complex system of back pressure turbine driven centrifugal chiller and double effect absorption
chiller and has approximately 23% higher efficiency than that of conventional chillers (condensing turbine
driven centrifugal chiller, double effect absorption chiller) (comparison made with conventional HITACHI

New topping system has been developed to meet the large tonnage District Heating
and Cooling.
This system consists of double effect absorption chiller and cetrifugal chiller driven by back-pressure
steam turbine. and provides quick response for complexed chilling demand, stability of chilling water supply,
and low running cost of whole system.
This system accomplished 34% higher efficiency than that of conventional chillers (condensing turbine driven
centrifugal chiller, double effect absorption chiller) (comparison made with conventional HITACHI chillers.) |
